The Phildelphia Museum of Art

The Phildelphia Museum of Art

In front of the Museum are the steps that Rocky climbed to look back down Benjamin Franklin Parkway towards the city center. Runners continually zip up and down these steps. I walked.

A fine statue of George Washington is in the left midground.

In the foreground, the IGlide tour company has unloaded its Segway scooters. I took one of these on a tour of the "arts and park" area. It took about a minute of terror to get comfortable, then I never wanted to quit. It was a real hoot.
